Heathrow

Just five miles from Langley is Heathrow Airport, a major employment hub serving over 70,000 workers.

The government has recently approved a new third runway to be built at Heathrow which will see an additional 740,000 flights per year with two new terminals being built. This is positive news for the local area as not only does it provide an additional 40,000 jobs, there’s a commitment to improving the local environment and improvements to local road and rail networks.

Crossrail are bringing the Elizabeth Line to Langley in 2021: good news for commuters. Network Rail have been carrying out work to provide up to four trains an hour in each direction from December 2021. This will allow passengers to travel into Central London in just 30 minutes without having to switch lines.

Western Rail

In addition to Crossrail, there’s the Western Rail Access to Heathrow (WRAtH), which is a new direct rail link connecting the west of England with Heathrow, and is scheduled to be operating by 2024.

Slough

Hurricane Court is also a mere 15-minute drive to Slough, Europe’s largest trading estate which is a thriving business hub on the M4’s ‘tech corridor.’ Slough Trading Estate is home to the largest number of global corporate headquarters outside the capital, including the likes of O2 Telefonica, Amazon and Mars.
